Rogue ported to WASM
A WebAssembly build of the classic Rogue 5.4.4, running directly in the browser in an xterm.js terminal.
This is an experiment in bringing old-school terminal games to the web without requiring a server-side shell. The original Rogue C/ncurses code is compiled to WebAssembly with Emscripten, then displayed through a browser terminal.
Built with WebCurses (WASM port of ncurses library):

Source code for this port (Uses original source code of Rogue during the build):

Controls are the standard Rogue keyboard controls.
The challenge is how to port Curses apps to WASM, as Emscripted does not help much with TUI apps. There are several different ways to wire curses apps to web, I mostly worked with https://pdcurses.org/ but for this project I used approach similar to https://github.com/rhaberkorn/emcurses where I just compile standard ncurses source code into wasm and provide js glue to web. Emcurses uses another library, not xterm.js but Termlib - which is now outdated, so in WebCurses I use just xterm.js which is now the industry standard to show terminals in Web.
